Course Overview

About This Course

The Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE) Exam Preparation course at Impact English College is designed for students who can already use English at an Advanced level and wish to achieve one of the most respected English language qualifications in the world — a certification valid for life. Delivered at both the Melbourne and Brisbane campuses as a closed class, the course runs for 10 to 12 weeks depending on the intake, with an entry requirement of Pre-Advanced+.

Students develop the language skills necessary to be confident in academic and professional contexts, including advanced grammar structures, natural idiomatic language and expressions, and the ability to write a range of extended texts for different purposes. The course also builds the speaking accuracy and fluency needed to communicate confidently and naturally with native English speakers.

As an Internal Cambridge Exam Centre, Impact English College allows CAE students to sit their exam in the same building where they study. All students are required to sit the Cambridge exam, with an additional exam and registered postage fee applying.
