This course prepares you for both the Cambridge English: First (FCE) and Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) exams, covering all sections of each exam in detail and teaching you the verbal skills and test-taking strategies you will need to succeed.
For the Cambridge English: First (FCE) pathway, you need to be at an Intermediate to Higher Intermediate level. For the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) pathway, you need to be at a Higher Intermediate to Advanced level. The minimum age requirement is 16 years old.
Students study 20 hours per week. Classes have an average size of 12 students with a maximum of 15, ensuring a focused and personalised learning environment.
Yes, the school provides Study Clubs offering a wide range of extra study opportunities, including Conversation club, Presentation club, IELTS speaking club, Song club, Games club, and Cambridge Exam club. Students can also access YouSTUDY English Online self-study resources both at the study centre and on their own personal devices.
Yes, Tourist and Working Holiday Visa holders have the flexibility to choose 20 hours of study by joining daytime Face-to-Face classes and/or virtual classes in the evening — a suitable option for students who are working or visiting local attractions while in Cairns. This flexible timetable is NOT available for Student Visa holders, who must attend Face-to-Face classes at the Cairns Campus.
