The total fees for the course are: Tuition Fee AUD $1,500, Enrolment Fee AUD $300, and Resource Fee AUD $200. The Resource Fee ensures students receive printed notes, learning materials, and access to Wi-Fi for the duration of their course.
All units of competence will be assessed using a selection of tools including observation, case scenarios, verbal questions and answers, written assessment, and practical demonstration/role play.
In order to gain the certificate, 14 units must be completed for this qualification, all of which are core units covering areas such as communication, legal procedures, WHS, risk assessment, defensive tactics, patrolling, screening, crowd control, and first aid.

Yes, successful completion of CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations is a mandatory requirement for licensing under the Security Providers Act in Queensland. Additionally, applicants must be over 18 years of age and must not have been convicted of a disqualifying offence in the last 10 years to be considered an 'Appropriate Person' eligible for a licence.
