Domestic full-time students pay $10,000, which includes PPE, training and assessment resources. International students pay $18,000, which includes PPE, training and assessment resources but excludes OSHC, visa fees, and accommodation. Payment plans are available, allowing students to pay per semester or in monthly instalments.
Intech Institute offers a range of study options including: Full-time on campus (for both Domestic and International Students), Full-time on-the-job training (for Trade Workers Only), RPL of existing skills (for those who have worked in the industry), and Apprenticeship and Traineeship (for Domestic Students Only).
Students are encouraged to seek industry work placement to gain the maximum benefit from the course. This is an opportunity to apply and practice the skills acquired in a formal work environment and improve their capabilities. InTech may assist in securing industry work placements — conditions apply.
For both domestic and international full-time students, compulsory 75% attendance is required for face-to-face classes and practical workshops, Monday to Friday, on Intech campus. InTech operates on a 10-week term with 4 terms per year, and all classes are scheduled for 20 hours per week. On-the-job learners have no class attendance requirements as all training and assessments are completed via work placement.
Upon successful completion, students can progress onto the next level of qualification within the college, including AUR40720 Certificate IV in Automotive Body Repair Technology or other relevant qualifications. Credits may also include units of competency contained within relevant skill sets and statements of attainment.
