Applicants must demonstrate an English level of IELTS 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5, or an equivalent qualification such as IBT 60, PTE 50, CAE 169, OET B, General English Advanced or equivalent, MOI Certificate, Duolingo 95, MET, LANGUAGECERT Academic, CELPIP General, or a Certificate IV or higher qualification with an Australian institution.
The course uses a range of assessment methods including Written Questions or Reports (to demonstrate understanding of theoretical concepts and industry standards), Practical Activities or Projects (hands-on tasks simulating real-world challenges), Case Study analysis, direct Observation during practical sessions, and Work Placement where applicable, during which performance and skill application are monitored and assessed according to workplace standards.
After completing AUR32721 Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology, students can pathway into AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis and then AUR50116 Diploma of Automotive Management.
Students will need to successfully complete all 32 units in this course — comprising 21 core units and 11 elective units — to receive the certificate of AUR32721 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Vehicle Technology (Light Vehicle). Learners who partially complete the qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units they are deemed competent.
Yes, Lead College offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), which is a process where skills and knowledge gained through work and life experience and other unrecognised training can be formally recognised. During the entry process and interview stage, Lead College will discuss the process and options for RPL. If RPL is determined as a possibility, students will be provided with a kit that guides them through each unit to determine relevant skills and experience and identify whether they would be able to provide the required evidence.
