The total course duration is 94 weeks (including holiday breaks), with a volume of learning of 1400 hours and 20 scheduled course contact hours per week.
The tuition fee is AU$45,000, the non-tuition fee is AU$10,500, making the total fee AU$55,500.
International students require a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 for direct entry, or an IELTS score of 5.5 with an ELICOS course of up to 10 weeks, or an IELTS score of 5.0 with an ELICOS course of up to 20 weeks. An Oxford Placement Test score of 61 or higher is also accepted. Results older than two years are not acceptable.
Assessment methods include written tests/knowledge questions, practical demonstration in an automotive workshop, and multiple-choice questions.
After achieving the AUR32721 - Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology, individuals can progress to AUR40612 - Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology at other institutes, as Hawk Institute does not offer this qualification. Career pathways include roles such as Automotive Electrical Technician and Light Automotive EV Mechanic.
