The course duration is 70 weeks for both domestic and international students. Please note that duration in weeks may vary depending upon the amount of contact days per week, and may also vary depending on the cohort and industry requirements.
No. For Western Australia and South Australia, this qualification can only be obtained if you are enrolled under an apprenticeship contract, and international students are not eligible for an apprenticeship. Contact ETEA for more information.
International students must meet one of the following English language requirements: a minimum IELTS score of 6, a minimum TOEFL score of 60, a minimum PTE Academic score of 52, a minimum Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) score of 169, or a minimum OET score of B for each component.
Further training pathways from this qualification include AUR40116 Certificate IV in Automotive Management or other relevant qualifications.
Yes. You can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), academic credit, and work experience towards this qualification. Evidence of skills and knowledge accumulated through work, volunteer roles, family commitments and various tasks undertaken in everyday life can be used to help you gain a qualification. Credit will also be granted towards this qualification to those who have completed AUR21120 Certificate II in Automotive Sales or other relevant qualifications.
