The course is delivered at three campuses: Melbourne Campus at L10 601 Bourke Street Melbourne VIC 3000, Abbotsford Campus at 395-397 Victoria St, Abbotsford, Victoria 3067, and Broadmeadows Campus at 61 Riggall St, Broadmeadows, Victoria 3047.
Assessments are an integral part of this course and may encompass a variety of formats, such as written questions, projects, presentations, reports, role plays/observations, and portfolios/journals. At the commencement of each unit, your trainer and assessor will outline the specific assessment tasks that you are required to complete.
Yes, you can apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning) as per the information included in the International Student Handbook. If you are granted course credit, this will affect your course fees as well as the duration of your course, and you will be advised in writing of any changes and issued with a new Confirmation of Enrolment.
The course runs for 52 weeks, including 47 study weeks and 5 weeks of holidays. Students are required to commit to 20 hours a week in the classroom and 4 hours of structured self-study per week.
You need an IELTS score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through being educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country, completing at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO, or successfully completing an English Placement Test. Other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can also be accepted if equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
