The course duration is 78 weeks, including 18 weeks of holiday, and is delivered on campus in Adelaide.
International students are required to have an IELTS score of 6.0 or above, or an equivalent qualification recognised by Alliance College. Details of equivalent qualifications are published separately on the college website.
This qualification provides a pathway to work in any automotive retail, service and repair industries. Possible job titles include, but are not limited to, Automotive Electrician.
Students may progress to the AUR40620 Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology after completing this qualification.
Students are required to have a personal computer capable of being connected to the internet via Wi-Fi, a personal email address, a mobile phone, Microsoft Office suite of programs, a microphone and camera compatible with or inclusive within their personal computer, home internet access with good speed for video conference calls, Zoom software installed, and a full automotive uniform (which is included in the material fee).
