The program will be delivered over 68 weeks (holiday inclusive) with 20 contact hours per week which includes theory education in the classroom and practical training in the fully equipped workshop facility. There is also an online support session of four hours per week.
Tuition Fee: $20,000; Enrolment Fee: $250; Material Fee: $1,000.
Applicants must provide evidence of completion of the International English Language Testing system (IELTS Test), either Academic (A) or General (G) band 6 overall, or its equivalent completed within 2 years from the application date. Alternatives include TOEFL iBT total band score of 67, Pearson Test of English Academic overall band score of 47, or completion of IELTS band 5.5 with 10 weeks of ELICOS, among others.
After successfully completing AUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology, students may apply for: AUR40620 Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology.
Learners may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied in their chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training (RPL- Recognition of Prior Learning, or Credit Transfer). The granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course. There is a fee for this process. International students' applications for credit transfer must be made prior to or at the beginning of the commencement of the course.
