Entry into this upgrade offering is limited to students who have previously completed AUR30616 or AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology. 24 of the units already passed will be used to help complete this qualification, meaning only 8 remaining units need to be completed.
Trinity Institute (Australia) will deliver this qualification over 16 weeks: 12 weeks of training and assessment and 4 weeks of holidays. Training and assessment occurs over 20 hours per week during terms, and it is recommended that students spend an additional 7 hours per week on study, research, practice, and assessment preparation.
Trinity Institute (Australia) provides training rooms, fully functioning automotive workshops with light vehicles, tools and manufacturer specifications required for all units, and personal protective and safety equipment such as eye protection, hearing protection and gloves as required for each unit. Students are required to provide their own laptop installed with Microsoft Office or similar, text books, safety work boots, overalls, and other personal protective equipment and tools as listed on the resources list prior to enrolment.
On successful completion of this course, students are awarded the AUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology, a nationally recognised qualification used by graduates to gain employment as Automotive Electricians (licensing requirements may apply). After achieving this qualification, graduates may wish to continue their education in AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis.
Yes, credit and RPL are available to students with prior skills, experience, knowledge, or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training in a related area. Recognition may reduce the duration of this course.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
