Common Questions
Domestic full-time students pay $10,000.00, which includes PPE, training and assessment resources. International students pay $18,000.00, which includes PPE, training and assessment resources but excludes OSHC, visa fees, and accommodation. Payment plans are available, allowing students to pay per semester or in monthly instalments if they have difficulty paying the full fee upfront.
Intech Institute offers five study options: (1) Full-time on campus for both domestic and international students; (2) Full-time on-the-job training for trade workers only; (3) RPL of existing skills for those who have worked in the industry; (4) Apprenticeship and Traineeship for domestic students only; and (5) QLD Government Subsidised RPL and Gap Training for QLD residents only.
Both domestic and international full-time students must attend face-to-face classes and practical workshops Monday to Friday on the Intech campus. Compulsory 75% attendance is required, with international students also bound by student visa conditions. InTech operates on a 10-week term with 4 terms per year, and all classes are scheduled for 20 hours per week.
Yes, there is an opportunity for an 18-month post-study work visa upon completion of this course, which makes the student job-ready.
Students can progress onto the next level of qualification within the college, including the AUR40720 Certificate IV in Automotive Body Repair Technology, the AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis, or other relevant qualifications. Credits may also include units of competency contained within relevant skill sets and statements of attainment.
