Student contribution fees are calculated at $1.60 per nominal hour for each Unit of Competency. For the entire 780-hour Apprenticeship program, fees total $1,248.00. Eligible students, including cardholders (Pension & Health) and Indigenous individuals, may receive concessions — contact DESBT or the training provider for concessional details.

After completing the Certificate III in Barbering, you may be eligible to further your studies with the SHB40216 Certificate IV in Hairdressing or the SHB50216 Diploma of Salon Management.
