Common Questions
The course fees include a Tuition Fee of $3,000 per term, a $1,000 practical material fee (for 1 year), a $220 make-up kit fee (one-time only), and Non-Tuition Fees of $250.
The course runs for up to 52 weeks and is divided into 4 terms, with each term consisting of 10 weeks of study plus a 3-week study break, and an extra 2 weeks over the Christmas period.
Students will need to successfully complete all units in this course to receive the certificate SHB30121 – Certificate III in Beauty Services. Learners who partially complete the qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units they are deemed competent.
Study pathways available for students who complete this qualification include the SHB50216 Diploma of Salon Management and the SHB50121 Diploma of Salon Management.
Yes. AIS recognises qualifications issued by other RTOs and will accept and mutually recognise the qualifications and Statements of Attainment awarded by any other registered training organisation unless precluded by licensing requirements. AIS can also grant Credit Transfer for subjects or units you have completed where equivalence can be established between the unit in your course and the subject or unit you have completed.
