Students must have English proficiency as guided by Macallan College's English Proficiency Policy and Procedures. This requires an IELTS Test with an overall score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no individual section score less than 5.5 (note: all applicants from AL3 countries must sit an IELTS test), or a Pre-entry Oxford English online test result of no less than B2.2 with a minimum score of 71.
After completing this course, you could enrol into: CPC40920 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Site Management), CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building), or CPC60120 Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction. For other relevant qualifications or further study options in the construction sector, refer to www.training.gov.au.
Issuing of your Certificate and/or Statement of Attainment occurs within 30 days of your last unit being deemed competent; however, this may be delayed in the event that you have not provided your Unique Student Identifier (USI) or you have any outstanding fees.
The course is available at Macallan College's Adelaide, Brisbane, and Sydney campuses. Adelaide is located at Level 10, 50 Grenfell St Adelaide 5000 SA; Brisbane at 151 Wellington Rd, East Brisbane 4169 QLD; and Sydney at Level 1/11 Parkes Street Harris Park 2150 NSW. Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
