The Certificate III in Business (BSB30120) has a total duration of 78 weeks, which is made up of 60 contact weeks plus 18 weeks of holiday breaks.
International students must demonstrate at least an upper-intermediate level of English proficiency, such as an IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL iBT 60-78, Cambridge English Exams (B2 First FCE / C1 Advanced CAE) 169 or above on the Cambridge scale, PTE Academic 52-58, or an English proficiency of upper intermediate level or above from any NEAS accredited ELICOS provider.
The qualification requires the completion of 13 units of competency, which includes 6 core units (such as Apply critical thinking skills in a team environment, Support personal wellbeing in the workplace, and Assist with maintaining workplace safety) and 7 elective units (such as Design and produce business documents, Design and produce spreadsheets, and Create electronic presentations).
After successfully achieving the BSB30120 Certificate III in Business qualification, you will be able to progress to BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business or other similar or suitable qualifications.
After completing the Certificate III in Business, you could gain roles such as office administrator within a large or medium organisation, administration support officer, front office and receptionist, small business administrative staff, back office administrative staff with limited junior accounts responsibilities, customer service advisor, data entry operator, general clerk, and administration assistant.
