Common Questions
The fees for the Certificate III in Business (BSB30120) are: Enrolment Fee $250, Tuition Fee $15,000 ($2,500 per term across 6 terms), and Materials Fee $395. Special promotions are also available to students who first enrol into an English course at English Language Company (ELC), and packaging the course with an English course saves $250 on enrolment fees.
The program is structured in 6 terms of 9 weeks each, with scheduled study breaks of 3 weeks between each term (7 weeks in Dec–Jan). From start to end date, your total study period may span 73 to 80 weeks, depending on your chosen start date. Each term you will study a module of 2 to 3 units, totalling 13 units of study.
To enrol in the Certificate III in Business at ELC Career College, you must: be aged 18 years or over, have successfully completed Australian Year 12 or international equivalent, and have an IELTS proficiency level of 5.0 or above or equivalent. You are also expected to bring your own laptop or tablet for home and classroom use.
The program uses blended learning, combining face-to-face teaching on campus with online practice on your own schedule. It includes lectures (5hrs/week), tutorials (1hr45/week), workshops (6hr45/week), and self-paced online learning (6hr30/week). ELC's courses are conveniently scheduled in the late afternoons/evenings and only 2 days per week, allowing maximum flexibility for daytime work, independent study and personal time.
Yes, ELC Career College offers several study pathway options. After completing the Certificate III in Business, you can progress to the Certificate IV in Business (BSB40120), and then further to the Diploma of Business (BSB50120). You can also package the Certificate III in Business with a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management and Diploma of Leadership and Management, or combine it with an English Language Course at ELC.
