This qualification will be delivered as full-time study over the course of 52 weeks including 12 weeks as breaks/holidays. The training is delivered with classes scheduled for 40 weeks and 12 weeks of break/extra tutorials/reassessment period as per the requirement of the individual student/learner. Duration may vary based on mode of delivery and/or RPL and Credit Transfer.
International students are required to have an IELTS band score of overall 6 (Academic or General) or equivalent in line with the Department of Education and the Department of Home Affairs (DOHA) regulations. Learners are also required to be competent in written and spoken English and will undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test prior to commencing the training.
Assessment methods for this qualification include written questions, projects, observations, presentations, case studies, reports, practical activities and work placement (if applicable only). More specifically, assessment methods include Written Questions (e.g. Multiple choice/True and False/Question and Answer), Practical Observation (e.g. Third Party report/Simulated Observation/Presentation), and Assignments (e.g. Project, Case Study, Written Report).
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in 13 units of competency, including 6 core units and 7 elective units. An asterisk against a unit code indicates that there is a prerequisite requirement that must be met, and all prerequisite requirements are packaged in the qualification.
Upon successfully completing BSB30120 Certificate III in Business, you can pursue the following qualifications with Orange College: BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business; BSB50120 Diploma of Business; BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management; and BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management.
