The course runs for 104 weeks in total, comprising 88 study weeks and 16 weeks of holidays.
The course is delivered in a blended mode across two campuses: Sydney Startup Hub (Level 7, 11-31 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000) and Melbourne CBD (Level 7, 118 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000).
Applicants must have demonstrated an IELTS score of at least 5.5 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old), or have successfully completed at least General English at Upper Intermediate or English for Academic Purposes Upper Intermediate level.
Graduates of this course may pursue careers as a manufacturing tradesperson, cabinet maker, furniture maker, furniture upholsterer, or in furniture restoration.
In addition to English language requirements, applicants must be proficient users of advanced calculators, have successfully completed Australian Year 10 or equivalent (or be of mature age with adequate LLN skills), be at least 18 years of age on the date of course commencement, and have access to a working PC or laptop with a configuration suitable to meet study requirements.
