A total of 25 Units (8 Core and 17 electives) must be completed and deemed competent to achieve the qualification MSF30322 Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology. Participants who achieve competency in any unit/s will receive a Statement of Attainment for that unit/s without completing all 25 units in the qualification.
Students must have demonstrated an IELTS level at a score of at least 6 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old), or demonstrate successful completion of at least General English at Upper Intermediate or English for Academic Purposes Upper Intermediate level.
Yes, it is compulsory that students must have successfully completed 'CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry' prior to commencing this course.
The further study pathways available to students who undertake this qualification include MSF40222 Certificate IV in Furniture Design and Manufacturing, MSF50322 Diploma of Furniture Design and Manufacturing, or a range of Certificate IV or Diploma level qualifications within the MSF Training Package.
Assessment methods used for this qualification are varied and may include written questions, projects, presentations, report writing, and role plays/observations. At the beginning of each unit, your trainer and assessor will outline the assessment tasks that must be completed.
