It's a nationally recognised course (Course Code: MSF30322, CRICOS Code: 116727H) that trains you in cabinet construction, timber technology, and furniture design for work in construction, manufacturing, or interior fit-outs. The course consists of 25 units in total, including 8 core units and 17 elective units.
The course runs for 60 weeks and is delivered at the Melbourne and Sydney campuses of NeXgen Institute of Australia.
International students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of course commencement and must demonstrate English language proficiency with a minimum IELTS overall band score of 6.0 (or equivalent in PTE Academic, TOEFL iBT, or Cambridge English, all within 2 years). Alternatively, evidence of at least 5 years of study in an English-speaking country or completion of a Certificate III or higher at an Australian RTO within the last 2 years is accepted. Applicants must also satisfy numeracy requirements via an LLN test or equivalent qualification.

Upon successful completion, graduates may work as a Cabinet Maker, Wood Machinist, Timber Technology Specialist, or Furniture Installer. Graduates may also pursue an apprenticeship, specialise in the installation of fitted units, take on supervisory roles, or pursue further formal studies in furniture and cabinetry.
