Common Questions
The tuition fees for the course are $27,200.00. This includes a $250 Application Fee and $1,950 Material Fees.
The course duration is 94 weeks.
The course is delivered through classroom-based training sessions to develop knowledge and theoretical understandings, along with practical sessions in the workshop. Students are assessed using written assessment and direct observation of practical demonstration.
Students are required to have successful completion of year 11 or equivalent (AQF Level III & IV), successful completion of a Determining Suitability Assessment, and must be 18 years of age or above. International students must have a minimum English level of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, or pass a Lennox College Placement Test. There are no academic pre-requisites for this qualification.
Upon successful completion, students will be awarded a 'Testamur' and a 'Record of Results' detailing the Units of Competency completed. If a student partially completes the course, they will receive a 'Statement of Attainment' for units achieved. After completing this qualification, candidates may choose to undertake the MSF40222 Certificate IV in Furniture Design and Manufacturing or other relevant qualifications at other RTOs.
