Trinity Institute (Australia) provides training rooms, simulated cabinet making/woodworking worksites with associated equipment and tools required for all units, personal protective and safety equipment such as a safety workshirt, eye protection, hearing protection and gloves, as well as a starter woodworking tool kit and toolbag. Students are also required to have a laptop with Microsoft Office or similar, a scientific calculator or carpenter's calculator phone app, safety work boots, and protective workwear.
International students must have an IELTS academic score of 6.0 or equivalent (test must have been taken no more than 12 months ago). English language competence can also be demonstrated through being educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country, successful completion of at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course or above in an Australian education institution, or successful completion of an Oxford English language placement test with an overall score of not less than Level B2 (Upper Intermediate).
