The course duration is calculated on 20 hours per week of face-to-face training for 49 weeks, with 9 weeks of allocated term break, making the total course duration 58 weeks.
The tuition fee for this course is AUD $16,000.00, with an additional material fee of AUD $2,500.00.
Applicants must achieve a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or a PTE score of 47, or provide another accepted English Language Test Score. In the absence of formal English qualifications, Winslow College may offer an English Placement Test.
After achieving MSF30322 – Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology, individuals could progress to MSF40222 – Certificate IV in Furniture Design and Manufacturing, or other relevant qualifications or Higher Education courses in Civil Engineering. Employment pathways include roles such as Manufacturing Tradesperson, Cabinet Maker, Furniture Maker, Furniture Upholsterer, and Furniture Restoration.
Yes. Due to the physical and practical nature of this course, students must be physically able to perform assessment tasks in a Cabinet Making and Timber Technology workshop and/or simulated environment. Students enrolling are required to undertake a Pre-Course Physical Examination during Orientation to assist trainers and Student Support Staff in identifying any physical requirements and providing appropriate support.
