Common Questions
This program will be delivered over a period of 92 weeks, with 20 hours per week. It includes 72 teaching weeks and 20 weeks of holidays.
The total course cost is $21,200, which includes a tuition fee of $20,000, a non-refundable application fee of $500, resources (textbooks) of $200, and a Student Kit (Uniform Kit) of $500. Overseas Student Health Cover is approximately $550 per annum for individuals and $5,000 per annum for families.
Students exiting this qualification may choose to progress with further studies by undertaking one of the following qualifications: MFS40222 Certificate IV in Furniture Design and Manufacturing, MFS40318 Certificate IV in Kitchen and Bathroom Design, MFS50322 Diploma of Furniture Design and Manufacturing, or CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).
Students may be able to shorten the length of their chosen course by measuring skills acquired through professional work experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. All claims for RPL and Credit Transfer should be made upon enrolment in the course and must be received by the Administration within two (2) weeks of the commencement.
Assessment methods may include the following: Projects/Assignments, Written Activities, Role play, and Practical observation/Demonstration. Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency within this qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment.
