Common Questions
The total course fees are $25,000, which comprises tuition fees of $22,000, a material fee of $2,500, and an application fee of $500.
The course runs for 52 weeks in total, consisting of 48 weeks of delivery plus 4 weeks of holidays. Students are required to attend a minimum of 20 scheduled course contact hours per week.
Students must complete 34 units of competency in total: 27 core units plus 7 elective units, with a total volume of learning of 1,300 hours.
All assessments of units of competency will be conducted according to the assessment guidelines and competency standards of the official Training Package for this qualification. Assessment methods include practical demonstrations, projects, knowledge tests, and more.
After successfully achieving this qualification, candidates may undertake CPC40120 - Certificate IV in Building and Construction or CPC50220 - Diploma of Building and Construction (Building). Career roles include Carpenter - Commercial, Carpenter - Formwork, and Carpenter – Residential.
