On successful completion of this qualification participants may find employment in Individual Support Industry as a Carpenter. On completion of this training, you will be qualified for various carpentry roles including commercial carpenter, residential carpenter and formwork carpenter. *It is not, however, intended to indicate that an individual will gain immediate employment on completion of this qualification.

Common Questions
The total course fees are $20,000, which includes an Admission Fee (non-refundable) of $250, Material Fees (not limited to books etc) of $2,250, and Tuition Fees of $17,000. Unless otherwise specified, total course fees include all the training and assessment as well as required resources and textbooks for participants to achieve the qualification.
The total duration of the qualification is 64 weeks including 9 weeks of term breaks. The course comprises 1,300 hours in total, made up of 630 hours of learning and 470 hours of assessment, plus an additional 300 hours, covering face-to-face structured training sessions, guided structured learning activities, student individual reading and research, assessments, and feedback reviews.
On successful completion of this qualification, participants may progress into further studies such as the CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction.
Participants obtaining competency in all units in the course would be awarded with a full qualification CPC33021 Certificate III in Carpentry, including a Certificate and a Record of Result. Participants who leave the course in the middle or do not obtain competency for all units would receive a Statement of Attainment, indicating the actual number of units they have achieved competency.
Yes. Innovative Institute of Australia offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), a formal assessment process that evaluates your existing skills and experience gained through work, training, or life, to determine if you meet the requirements of specific course units. Credit Transfer is also available for equivalent units previously completed at other registered training organisations, without the need for reassessment. These processes are conducted in line with the Standards for RTOs 2025 and you should notify the Institute at the time of enrolment if you wish to apply.
