The tuition fees for the course are $23,000.00. This includes Material and Application Fees, which consist of a $250 Application Fee and $2,750 in Material Fees.
The course runs for 59 weeks full time, delivered at the Sydney Campus located at Level 2, 11-13 Aird Street, Parramatta NSW 2150.
Students must have successfully completed Year 11 or equivalent (AQF Level III & IV), completed a Determining Suitability Assessment, be 18 years of age or above, and meet a minimum English level of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (for international students) or pass a Lennox College Placement Test. There are no formal academic course entry requirements.
Graduates may work in roles such as Carpenter – Commercial, Carpenter – Formwork, or Carpenter – Residential. Further study pathways include the CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) or a suitable qualification at Certificate IV level.
The assessment process includes the gathering of evidence to demonstrate the student's competence, using written assessment and direct observation of practical demonstration. Upon successful completion, students will be awarded a 'Testamur' and a 'Record of Results' detailing all Units of Competency completed. Students who partially complete the course will receive a 'Statement of Attainment' listing only the units in which they achieved competency.
