The course cost for the Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220) at NTCA is $27,000.
The Certificate III in Carpentry has a duration of 64 weeks and is delivered using a Blended Delivery Model at NTCA's Melbourne campus.
To enrol, applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age at the time of commencement, have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent, hold a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent, and meet course-relevant Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) capabilities. Applicants must also bring their own compatible devices to support training and assessment activities.
Graduates of the Certificate III in Carpentry may seek employment as a Carpenter in commercial or residential settings, or as a Formwork Carpenter. They may also progress to further study such as the CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Builder) or the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).
A total of 34 units must be completed, comprising 27 core units and 7 elective units. Students may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer for any unit in which they can successfully demonstrate competency.
