Common Questions
Course duration is calculated on 20 hours per week of face-to-face training for 77 weeks & 15 weeks of allocated term break. Total Course Duration: 92 weeks.
Minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or PTE score of 52 or Certificate IV in EAL or equivalent. In the absence of formal English qualifications Glen Institute may proffer English Placement Test.
The course is delivered at two locations: Outer Northern Trade Training Centre (ONTTC), 407 High Street, Lalor, VIC 3075 and Level 5, 310 King Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
Students completing this Certificate III qualification may choose to progress with further studies by undertaking range of building and construction qualifications such as: CPC50220 Diploma of Building & Construction.
Due to the physical and practical nature of this course, students must be physically able to perform assessment tasks in a Carpentry workshop and/or simulated environment. Therefore, students enrolling in this course is required to undertake a Pre-Course Physical Examination during Orientation.
