The fees for the SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery at ACTT College are $16,250.
The course is 60 weeks full time, including holidays, and is delivered at ACTT College's campus at Level 1, 11-13 Aird St, Parramatta NSW 2150.
Students are required to complete a minimum of 48 complete service periods (shifts) for the unit SITHCCC043 Work effectively as a cook. These shifts must include breakfast, lunch, dinner and special functions, at least 3 different menu styles (à la carte, set menu, table d'hôte, buffet or cyclical), and a range of food types. ACTT College has allocated 4–5 hours per service period in a commercial kitchen.
ACTT College encourages students to find their own placement at an establishment of their choice; however, ACTT College may place the student into a workplace where support is required. ACTT College will also provide support and guidance to both the student and workplace throughout the placement by conducting regular visits and regular contact with the student and/or supervisor by telephone, email or other means.
This qualification provides a pathway to work as a cook in various establishments such as restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafes, and coffee shops. Further training pathways from this qualification may lead to the SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
