There are three fee options: Option 1 (26 weeks stand-alone, only available for students who have completed SIT30821 – Certificate III in Commercial Cookery) costs an Administration Fee of $100.00, Resource Fees of $50.00, and Tuition Fees of $8,000.00. Option 2 (104 weeks Certificate III in Commercial Cookery + Certificate IV in Kitchen Management + Diploma of Hospitality Management Package) costs an Administration Fee of $100.00, Resource Fees of $500.00, and Tuition Fees of $23,000.00. Option 3 (135 weeks Certificate III in Commercial Cookery + Certificate IV in Kitchen Management + Diploma of Hospitality Management + Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management Package) costs an Administration Fee of $100.00, Resource Fees of $600.00, and Tuition Fees of $26,500.00.
All students are required to have access to a computer and the Microsoft Office suite, Chef whites and Knives.
Student visa applicants are required to provide the results of an English language test. ASMI will accept results from the TOEFL Paper-Based Test (TOEFL iBT), IELTS, Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic, or Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) test. Students are required to reach a minimum level of English: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 64 or PTE 50 or CAE 169.
The course is offered classroom based in Brisbane and Sydney, combining classroom and workplace-based delivery methods including written assessment and portfolio of evidence. The stand-alone option runs for 26 weeks full-time. RPL is also offered in Australia on an external basis, with duration determined by the quality of evidence submitted and the amount of gap training required.
After successfully completing this qualification, students may have the opportunity to progress into the Diploma of Hospitality Management.
