The course runs for 52 Weeks / 1 Year, inclusive of holidays and study break.
Yes, as part of the course you will need to complete 48 occasions (192 hours) in a real life commercial kitchen. Lyons College will assist you in finding a suitable venue for your Work Based Training.
The course fee is $10,000 for 1 year, with an additional Material Fee of $1,000.
Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following: IELTS overall score of 5.5 or better, TOEFL overall score of 5.5 or better, Pearson (PTE Academic) overall score of 42 or better, or Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) or Proficiency (CPE) with a score of 162 or above.
On completion of the Certificate III in Cookery, students may pursue the Certificate IV in Kitchen Management at Lyons College.
