This qualification is expected to be completed in 66 weeks, which includes 55 weeks of face-to-face training and assessment and 11 weeks of term breaks.
Yes, there is a mandatory work placement component of 192 hours as part of the course delivery requirements.
International students must be 18 years or above, have completed Year 12, achieve an Academic IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in each band, and have sound Language and Literacy Skills suitable for the course.
Yes, Platinum Education offers two recognition pathways: Credit Transfer, where a certificate with a statement of results or statement of attainment is produced and verified to initiate the process; and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), where students provide relevant evidence as detailed in Platinum Education's RPL kit. If recognition applies, the student's overall duration will alter and a schedule of exemptions will be provided.
Further training pathways from this qualification include but are not limited to SIT40521 – Certificate IV in Kitchen Management.
