This is a Free TAFE for Priority Course (FREE for eligible students). Other fee types include: Concession $1,634; Government subsidised $8,166; Full fee paying $18,671. Mandatory other fees include Materials $2,210 and Student services – concession (annual) $135 or Student services - no concession (annual) $270.
The course is Full Time, 1 year, or Part Time, 1.5 years. Full time start dates: 3 February (2 February orientation), 21 April (20 April orientation), 7 July (6 July orientation). Part time start dates: to be advised.
The course is delivered at Dandenong and Mornington Peninsula. Full Time July intake at Dandenong: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (8.30am–4pm). Full Time July intake at Mornington Peninsula: Monday (8.30am–4pm), Tuesday (10am–6pm) and Thursday (10am–6pm). Full Time September intake at Dandenong: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (8.30am–4.00pm). Part Time July intake at Dandenong: Thursday 4pm–8pm and Saturday 9.00am–3.00pm.
There are no practical placement requirements for this course.
Once you've successfully completed the Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, you can pathway into Chisholm's Certificate IV in Kitchen Management.
