Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care students will complement their learning by meeting a minimum of 160 mandatory hours of work placement over the duration of the course. Bedford will collaborate with students and support them to find a suitable work placement location.
The course fee for CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is $7,490, plus a one-off non-refundable enrolment fee of $150.
Yes. Some students seeking leadership roles in early education choose to progress their studies by subsequently completing a CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Bedford College also has arrangements with high-ranking universities to provide articulation pathways (with credit) towards Bachelor degree programs.
Bedford College offers one commencing intake of study in a year for this course, starting in February.
For students over the age of 18 years who engage in child-related work, they must by law hold a valid and current Working with Children Check before attending work placement.
