The total cost of the course is AUD 17,750, which includes a Tuition Fee of AUD 16,000, an Enrolment Fee of AUD 250, and a Material Fee of AUD 1,500.
Yes, all students enrolled in this course must undertake 160 hours of work placement at an approved venue as part of the vocational outcome requirements.
Yes, students who have completed relevant studies or have some of the competencies in the course may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Applications can be made with the initial application or within two weeks of course commencement using the RPL Application Form and supporting documents. Please note that RPL cannot result in an international student having less than a full-time load of study (20 hours per week) but can reduce the overall duration of the course and fees.
International students must have an IELTS score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through being educated for 5 years in an English speaking country, completing at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO, or by passing an English Placement Test. Other tests such as PTE and TOEFL are also accepted if they are confirmed to be equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into higher education qualifications in early childhood education and care. The course also provides a pathway for those seeking to enter a new industry sector or pursue a career as an Educator in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
