Common Questions
The guideline for duration is 6 months – 2 years depending on your chosen study option. Credit transfer and RPL options may also reduce the overall time taken to complete the course.
Yes, students are required to undertake 120 hours or 6 weeks of student work placement during the course. Additionally, to achieve this qualification, the individual must have completed a total of at least 160 hours of work in a regulated children's education and care service in Australia.
On completion of this qualification, you can gain credit (between 11–13 units) into the CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care to continue your education career. This will shorten the duration of your Diploma course and also reduce the fees.
There are no entry requirements (Nil) for the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. However, it is important that you inform and advise the College prior to enrolment about any existing skills and prior knowledge and education, so the College can provide the appropriate structure and student support throughout the course.
The course is delivered in a mixed mode, combining face-to-face and online learning. Students may enrol online, in a classroom, or as a traineeship depending on their preferred study method.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
