This course is delivered full-time (20 contact hours per week) across 52 weeks consisting of 36 study weeks (four terms of nine weeks each) and scheduled holiday breaks. The course duration may vary for students who have been granted credits towards this course.
This course requires you to complete 160 hours of supervised work placement in a regulated children's education and care service in Australia. The Capstone work placement coordinator will assist you to find work placement.
The Tuition Fee of this course is $15,000 payable in four instalments of $3,750 each. There is an additional non-refundable $500 Enrolment Fee payable at the time of enrolment, and a $700 Materials Fee payable for this course (refundable if you decide to cancel your course prior to commencement).
Before starting work placement, students must apply for a Work with Children Check (WWCC) and provide the information requested by the work placement host venue to support mandatory workforce record-keeping, including entry and maintenance of details in the National Early Childhood Worker Register via the NQA IT System, where required by the approved provider.
