The total course fees are AUD $40,000 for tuition, plus an Enrolment Fee of AUD $500 and Material Fees of AUD $3,500.
To become a licensed electrician in Australia, you must complete the UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, which is the main qualification required. After completing the course, you will need to meet additional licensing requirements set by your state or territory regulator, as state and territory jurisdictions have different regulatory requirements depending on the level of licensing you need.
International students must meet the following English language requirements: Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in each band, or upper intermediate, or EAP from an approved ELICOS/ESL centre or equivalent. Note that any AQF qualification at the Certificate III level or above delivered and assessed in English only will be deemed as meeting both the academic and English language entry requirements.
Pathways from the UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician can lead to the UEE40620 Certificate IV in Electrotechnology – Systems Electrician or other higher education qualifications.
Students study full time in a mixed mode of delivery that integrates scheduled face-to-face classes of 20 hours per week during term time, along with use of the Online Learning Management System as a portal in the classroom or other materials, through which the trainer will teach units and deepen students' knowledge through a range of teaching and learning methods and extra resources.
