Common Questions
Students must demonstrate an English level of IELTS 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5 or an equivalent qualification, such as IBT 60, PTE 50, CAE 169, OET B, General English Advanced or equivalent, Duolingo 95, MET, LANGUAGECERT Academic, CELPIP General, or a Certificate IV or higher qualification with an Australian institution.
Assessment in this course uses a variety of methods including Written Questions or Reports (to demonstrate understanding of theoretical concepts, procedures, and industry standards), Practical Activities or Projects (hands-on tasks simulating real-world challenges), Case Study analysis, direct Observation during practical sessions or workplace activities, and Work Placement where applicable.
The tuition fee for MEM31925 Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade is AUD $14,000, with an additional material/placement fee of AUD $3,000, for a total of AUD $17,000.
Yes. Lead College recognises qualifications issued by other RTOs and will accept and mutually recognise qualifications and Statements of Attainment awarded by any other registered training organisation. Credit Transfer is available for units where equivalence can be established. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is also available for skills and knowledge gained through work and life experience; suitability is determined based on experience, work history, and previous training.
Graduates may pursue roles such as Blacksmith, Welder, or Boilermaker. Career progression routes include Welding, Boilermaking, Surface finishing, and Sheet metalworking. Those who complete this qualification may also contemplate pursuing further education in the Engineering Certificate IV.
