Common Questions
The course runs for 57 weeks in total, which includes 51 teaching weeks and 6 weeks of scheduled breaks.
You need to meet one of the accepted English language requirements. The minimum scores are: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 64 (accepted only if taken on or before 25 July 2023), Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 169, or PTE Academic 50. Lower scores may be accepted if combined with 10 or 20 weeks of ELICOS/Foundation study.
Yes, ICM can grant you credit towards your course for units of competency that you have already completed with another RTO or authorised issuing organisation. There is no charge to apply for Credit — you simply need to fill in the Credit Application Form and submit it as part of your enrolment. Note that as an international student, receiving credit will reduce your course duration.
Upon successful completion, you can seek roles such as Glazier, Glass Cutter/Processor, Architectural or Commercial Glazier, Glass Installer/Repairer, and Estimator/Project Supervisor in advanced roles. You can also continue your education through pathways such as MSF40422 Certificate IV in Glass and Glazing, CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction, or CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process where skills and knowledge gained through work and life experience and other unrecognised training can be formally recognised. You should ideally apply for RPL at the time of enrolment, but may also apply up to 2 weeks into your course. If RPL is determined as a possibility, you will be provided with a kit to guide you through each unit to identify relevant skills and experience. A trainer/assessor will be available to assist you throughout the process, and granting RPL will reduce your course duration as an international student.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
