Common Questions
The tuition fee is $2,995 for full fee-paying students. Domestic students may be eligible for government subsidised training, which reduces the fee to $295 (Managed Course Limit). A Student Services Fee of $250 also applies. Note that government subsidised seats are limited, so early enrolment is encouraged.
Work Integrated Learning is not a requirement for this qualification. However, optional work integrated learning placements are available with one of EQUALS' industry partners and are subject to availability.
Students who successfully complete this course may be eligible to continue further study at Diploma level in Community Services, Nursing, Mental Health or other related human services fields.
Yes. If you have related prior education and experiences, you may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). If you have successfully completed units of competency from this qualification previously, you may be eligible for National Recognition (Credit Transfer).
The course has four intakes per year: January, April, July, and October. The course runs for 13 weeks and is delivered on campus or in blended mode.
