Common Questions
The course spans 72 weeks, including scheduled term breaks. Students are required to attend 20 hours of classes/practical sessions per week, which include face-to-face instruction, simulated practical learning, and supervised assessment activities.
The total course fees are $16,500, which includes an Admission Fee (non-refundable) of $250, Material Fees of $1,250, and Tuition Fees of $15,000. Unless otherwise specified, total course fees include all the training and assessment as well as required resources and textbooks for participants to achieve the qualification.
After completing AUR31120, you can advance with a Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis for advanced diagnostics, a Certificate IV in Automotive Management for leadership/business roles, or Specialist Certificates such as light vehicle or automotive electrical technology.
Participants who leave the course in the middle or do not obtain competency for all units would receive a Statement of Attainment, indicating the actual number of units they have achieved competency. Participants who obtain competency in all units would be awarded the full qualification AUR31120 – Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, including a Certificate and a Record of Result.
