The course has a 6 month duration (20 weeks) and part-time study is available for Domestic students.
The course fee is $5,990 for the Certificate III in Individual Support (Double specialisation in Ageing & Disability), plus a one-off non-refundable enrolment fee of $150.
Students undertaking the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) have a minimum of 120 hours of work placement over the duration of the course. Bedford supports students to source a course related work placement and works closely with reputable industry partners, giving students the opportunity to apply for a placement with one of their partners. Many students go on to secure employment offers upon graduation.
Assessment methods may include written questions, case studies/scenarios, practical demonstrations, and work placement observation.
Some graduates choose to undertake further study upon completion of their Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability). You may be interested in completing a Certificate IV in Ageing Support, which is available as an upgrade course.
