The course runs for 6 Terms and is delivered full time on campus at either the Sydney or Melbourne campus, with 6 weeks of work placement included.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency. International students are required to complete 120 hours of work placement as part of their full-time study.
Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the following minimum requirement: IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent. English test scores are only valid if they are less than 2 years old at the commencement of the course.
Yes, students must complete a police check and be approved prior to any work experience taking place.
After completing the CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support, students can progress to the CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability as a further learning pathway.
