The course is delivered over 52 weeks in total, comprising 36 weeks of classroom-based training and assessment and 16 weeks of school breaks, with 20 hours of face-to-face study per week.
Students must complete at least 120 hours of work placement as a mandatory component of this qualification. Additionally, a Flu Shot is required before going to work placement, as it is a mandatory requirement for some of the facilities.
The total fees for this course are $10,600, which includes a Tuition Fee of $9,300, a non-refundable Enrolment Fee of $300, and a Study Material Fee of $1,000 per year.
Applicants must provide an IELTS certificate showing a score of 6 or above (or equivalent), and also undertake and successfully complete Signature Training College's Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) skills assessment.
After completing the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability), education pathways may include the CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support or the CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services.
