Common Questions
To fulfil the vocational placement component of this qualification, you must complete a total of 120 placement hours. Your placement provider will determine your shifts, which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays. If you are not currently employed or volunteering in the industry, Frontier Education may assist in securing placements, though availability is not guaranteed.
The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) is delivered at three campuses: Brisbane, Cairns, and Hobart. The study mode is face to face, with an on campus or blended option available.
International students applying either off-shore or on-shore will require either a minimum IELTS (General/Academic) test score of 6.0 or equivalent, or a minimum PTE (Academic) test score of 52 or equivalent. For every 0.5 level below the required score, up to 10 weeks of ELICOS course must be undertaken before the commencement of the main VET course. Results older than two (2) years are not acceptable.
The course has a duration of 52 weeks, inclusive of holidays. The CRICOS Course Code is 116256A.
