Common Questions
There are no entry requirements for this course; however, there are mandatory clinical placement requirements which need to be met.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
Students complete a total of 13 units, including 7 core units and 6 electives. Electives have been packaged to provide a qualification with a specialisation for aged care, disability or home and community care.
Graduates of the Certificate III in Individual Support can pursue roles such as Nurse's Aide, Aged Care Assistant, Personal Care Giver, and Respite Care Worker.
Students can choose from Online, Classroom, or Traineeship study methods when enrolling in the Certificate III in Individual Support.
