The total course amount is $10,550.00 AUD, which includes an Application fee of $250.00, Tuition fee of $9,800.00, and a Resource fee of $500.00. A Commitment fee of $500.00 is also required, which will be adjusted/credited back to the student's final term's instalment of the course. All fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
The total duration of the course is 52 weeks, comprising 40 academic weeks and 12 weeks of study breaks. Classes are scheduled 2 days per week (mandatory), with academic support available 1 day per week (Fridays), totalling 20 academic contact hours per week.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency. This is specifically referenced in the unit CHCCCS040 Support Independence and Wellbeing, which includes a work-based training session of 120 hours minimum.
Students must complete KIC's Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) test with at least a score equivalent to IELTS Academic 6.0, IELTS General 6.0, PTE Academic 47, TOEFL iBT 67, C1 Advanced 161, OET 1210, CELPIP General 7, LANGUAGECERT Academic 61, or MET 53 as their overall test result.
